About Us

The Mission of St. George’s Court is to provide safe and affordable housing for the elderly.

St. George’s Court is located at 110 North Tenth Street in Griffin, Georgia. The facility was built in 1983 by St. George’s Episcopal Church. We offer affordable apartment living for qualifying low-income adults, 62 years old and older. We are a gated property, offering 24-hour security, conveniently located near downtown Griffin. HUD subsidizes the rent through the project-based Section 202/8 program. Monthly rent is based on adjusted annual gross income and includes all utilities except telephone. Extended basic cable TV is included.

St. George’s Court is a five story building offering 100 unfurnished apartments. All units have been recently refurbished, including new energy efficient windows. We offer 95 one-bedroom units, and 5 two-bedroom units. Five of the one-bedroom units are handicap accessible. The one-bedroom apartments are approximately 525 SF, and the two-bedroom apartments are approximately 900 SF.

We have several common and activity areas for our residents, including inside seating areas, a fireplace, library/billiard room, outdoor patio, a pergola and courtyard with fountain and patio furniture. We are pet friendly with an on-site dog park where residents can walk their pets.

St. George’s Court is a smoke-free building.

Eligibility:

To be a resident of St. George’s Court you must be 62 years old or older and meet the terms of our lease. Annual income limits are determined by HUD. The 2023 income limits for one person is $35,750 and for two people is $40,850.

The owner/agent and property staff does not provide, nor has the authority to provide any personal care or personal supervision services. All care and supervision services must be provided by the resident or supervised aide(s) or by the resident’s representative (sponsor). The owner/agent and property staff does not provide assistance with personal activities or daily living. We do not provide meals nor do we assist with the administration of medications.
